Full Description:
Utilising the NMCI’s Kongsberg 360° full-mission bridge simulator (one of only a few in the world) and built upon industry best practice, this course covers key areas of STS operations with berthing, unberthing underway and static exercises in both benign and adverse weather conditions in all sizes of vessels.
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be certified as complying with the requirements set out in the OCIMF 4th edition guidelines (2005).

Safe manoeuvring utilising the ship’s engines and helm
Understanding of natural forces (wind, current, interaction) and their effects on the behaviour of a ship involved in an STS operation
