This 2 day course is designed to give delegates the basic safety training required for working on or near Offshore Wind Energy Sites.

The course content includes:

- Environmental  & Offshore Hazards

- Transit & Transfer to andfrom  an Offshore Wind Turbine

- Vessel and Facility Emergencies

- Marine Survival & Rescue including Helicopter Winching Techniques

- Marine Survival First Aid

- Fire Theory & Practical

 

This course is run on both scheduled & a bespoke basis for groups or companies.

ITEMS TO BRING:

National Photographic Idendification/Passport/Drivers License, Medical Certificate (If required), Swim wear and towel, €1 coin for safety locker.

For pool activities it is advisable to bring a change of clothing i.e.

-T-shirts, tracksuits, etc.

N.B.-On the first day of the course, please be in the Reception area of the NMCI by 8.45am.
The course will finish at approximately 6pm each day.
