Thursday 09 October 2008
Mr Phil Maguire-Hahnell, of Carrigaline wishes to express his thanks to the national maritime College of Ireland for their help in raising €54,000 for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
NMCI were able to help raise these funds by offering the wonderful prize of 3 hours in one of their the state of the art simulators. These simulators are normally used for training Navigation and Engineering personnel who work on board ships and were obviously a much sought after prize in the RNLI raffle.
