The photographs show Bp deck cadet Eoin Callan being presented with the annual Irish Institute of Master Mariners prize, the Don Curtis Award, by Mrs. Phil Curtis. The prize, awarded to the Year 1 deck cadet achieving the highest marks at year-end, commemorates the late Don Curtis.
Also shown is Captain Dave Hopkins, Chairman of the Irish Chamber of Shipping presenting Eoin with the “keepsake” prize of a set of marine binoculars, kindly sponsored by Mainport Holdings.
