Support from the Irish Maritime Development Office for the Foundation Diploma in Shipping

"As the government agency charged with the task of developing Ireland’s maritime sector, the IMDO has, as a cornerstone of its policy, invested heavily in developing maritime education on the island of Ireland. We recognize that the key to attracting both investment from players in International Shipping and ancillary services and to developing Ireland’s indigenous maritime business is a strong knowledge base. In our eyes, the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers qualification represents a commitment to maintaining the highest professional standards across the shipping industry. Moving forward we will continue to support the work of the ICS in Ireland and the development of Irish maritime professionals”.
