The Admiralty Manuals of Navigation have been regarded as the standard text for navies around the world; yesterday 16th October saw the launch of the latest in the series Volume 1. The current author of the Admiralty Manuals of Navigation is Lieutenant Commander Alan Peacock, Royal Navy. The photograph shows senior Vice President of the Nautical Institute Captain J. A.
