Our commercial course schedule is released at the end of August every year. We can also tailor courses to suit the particular requirements of maritime companies. Clients from the port operations area have worked with us to develop customised training on our state of the art marine simulators. We can also provide a suite of courses for companies looking to train their employees in numerous maritime short courses.

  • Onboard Assessor Training course- Online Course The Onboard Assessor Training course is an Instructor-led course that can be delivered remotely via video conference over 12 hours or face-to-face over 2 days. 
  • Control and Automation (Glasgow)Aims: To improve the Control and Automation knowledge and skills of Engineers and Electricians on board Chevron Shipping operated vessels. To develop skills in the installation and operation of equipment used in the process control field.
  • Engineer Officer Hydraulics (Glasgow)The aim of the course is to give the participants the knowledge, skill and understanding to be able to demonstrate proficiency in the safe use of hydraulic machinery. On completion of the course, the participant will have the knowledge to safely operate hydraulic machinery, understanding the basic principles involved in its use. Basic faults will be able to be diagnosed.
  • Engineer Officer Refrigeration (Glasgow)The course is designed to introduce the participants to the basic theory behind refrigeration systems and familiarise them with the components of a typical vapour compression refrigeration circuit.
