Dermot O'Reilly is a lecturer in Marine Engineering at the National Maritime College of Ireland. He has ten years experience at sea as an engineer officer on a wide range of vessel types, is a Chartered Engineer and member of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology. He has acted as Senior Researcher on a number of Enterprise Ireland funded projects in the marine sector, run specialised courses for industry and is currently involved in a number of EU projects. At NMCI he lectures in Thermodynamics, Ship Construction, Marine Systems and Equipment and Engine Simulation. |
